About The Event

What can transport you Twenty Thousand Leagues Under the Sea or take you on a trip Around the World in 80 Days? The novels of Jules Verne and now, the music of the Spectrum composers. With this concert, in partnership with the Alliance Française de Toronto, we pay tribute to one of France’s greatest literary figures and the Father of Science Fiction. Verne’s stories from “Voyages Extraordinaires” will inspire playful and wondrous new pieces fit for all-ages.

A hand-picked ensemble of Toronto's best jazz musicians and the addition of Francophone actor, Florian Francois, will bring this adventurous music to life.
